Please read and understand our Terms & Conditions prior to booking an appointment with About Makeup.

All services provided include application of false lashes and highlighting and contouring to the clients taste.

  • A 50% non-refundable non-transferable booking fee is required on all bookings as a deposit. This will secure all makeup bookings. This is invoiced via email after your booking is confirmed.

  • Payment of deposit must be made on the day of booking, failing to do so will result in loss of appointment.

  • Deposits may be paid in cash or bank transfer.

  • All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

  • Travel fees will be dependent on the location and how many artists are needed for your booking. Upon receiving your booking request including this information, we will be able to provide an initial estimate. If your location is more than 2 hours from Auckland, within the North Island, there will be an overnight fee. For weddings outside of the North Island including Waiheke Island, please enquire.

  • Bookings can be cancelled up until the day before, however deposits are non refundable.

  • No shows or arriving 30 minutes+ late for your appointment will result in cancellation and payment will not be refunded.

  • Timing - please allow up to 2 hours for a glam makeup look.

  • With clients consent, we may take photos before and after makeup application and these may be used on our social media accounts and website.

  • The client shall inform the Makeup Artist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. We can not be held liable for any losses that are incurred due to the client’s failure to inform of any known conditions.

  • The makeup artist reserves the right to refuse service to the client or bridal party who have infectious conditions, or display any inappropriate or threatening behaviour. If services are refused the booking fee will not be refunded. This is to cover the cost of the appointment.

  • By financially securing your appointment (by deposit) you are also declaring that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
